The “back” of the Soweto theatre becomes a front to the street corner; a graffiti wall for the local artists and a black wall for long banners to advertise events. The coloured boxes advertise themselves.
The fissures designed in the Soweto Theatre allow light to penetrate into it’s insides and re-orientation of the self from within.
